PROJECT OVERVIEW: Beehive Gaming is a gaming collective based in Wilmington, North Carolina, that produces ongoing TTRPG campaigns, live shows, and community-driven roleplay events. The founders needed a brand identity that could speak to narrative play and collaborative storytelling while still feeling contemporary and accessible to a broader audience beyond hardcore tabletop enthusiasts.

The branding solution draws from the collective metaphor in the name “Beehive” — emphasizing collaboration, imagination, and shared worldbuilding. Clean typography, modular forms, and a restrained color palette were used to avoid the dark, overly ornate fantasy tropes common in TTRPG branding. The identity was built to translate across show promotion, streaming thumbnails, social graphics, and event materials as the collective expands its programming.
